Would you book 2 rooms at the Pop Century or cram into 1 room at the Wilderness Lodge

We have a set budget for our rooms.. but looking at the price for when we are going on our next trip.. I see that 1 room at the Wilderness Lodge is about the same price as the 2 rooms we are getting at the Pop Century.

If you had the choice between staying in 2 rooms at the Pop Century or cramming 4 people into 1 room at the Wilderness Lodge.. what would you do? We are a party of 4 people.

Hmm.. :dazzle:

Also....and this is for a few of us.....if you are scrap book people or souvenir collectors, with 2 rooms you will get 2 of everything (check in documents, resort maps, room magazines, soaps, etc.) and you'll have more for your scrap book!
I've never had problems requesting multiple sets of check-in materials when renting larger rooms where multiple families stay together.

I would choose the 2 rooms at Pop Century. Every couple needs a little time to themselves; be it sleep, bathroom, waking up & not having to worry about what you look like or what your wearing (or not wearing), etc. (add your own reason here).

Yes but I still think I'd book at least one night (maybe the last night ?)at WL, then the rest at POP. Lots of people do this now.

hmmmm... hard I think I'd go with pop everyone likes space even if it means giving up a better hotel. Don't get me wrong though I love the pop century but some time the place is packed Especially during the summer and the crowed buses get to your nerves.:brick: But I would stick with the crowds anyday for a nice room for myself:)

 TAKE ME WITH YOU!!!!!!!:lookaroun please

I just stayed at the Pop, and we won't be staying there again. We would rather pay the extra $ to stay at a deluxe or moderate. You can hear everything! Don't get me wrong, the place was awesome. But every morning at 7 am, we heard the wake up call in the next room, I even heard the guy cough! We ate at the Whispering Canyon Cafe`, and we decided that the WL was the next place we were staying at, it was so nice. Way better than the Pop. We talked to a couple, and they said it was worth the $. :)

Oh what a tough one you have on your hands!

I'd go with the Value resort. I know I'm going to get blasted on this, but mainly it's because of "privacy."

Yes, WL is SO much nicer and has a lot more perks, but then again how often are you in your room. This is an arguement for both rooms I guess, but like someone else stated, you get one bathroom per two people at the Value resort and not four. That can make a heap of difference when it comes to waking up and all that stuff!

Also, not to be out of line, but let's say you do want some privacy at night, are you going to relive the college days and hang a tie on the door to keep the others out if you stay at WL?

It's a tough call, but hey, at least it's one that involves going to the world.

Have fun!

I was thinking the exact same things. I agree with you 100%

Funny, we had this exact same thing our last trip. We decided to stay at Wilderness Lodge (4 adults). Wilderness Lodge is the best resort I've stayed at but I still would rather have had 2 rooms. I've also stayed at Pop Century and I think it is the best value resort. It is ugly and big but it has the same all important Disney services.

It all comes down to comfort. I think it sleep is very important. You will drag the next day at the parks if you did not get a good night's rest. But if you are comfortable sharing a bed with whoever and no one snores (not the case with my brother), then I say WL.

Also if you have more than 2 adults in a room it is an extra $25 per person a night, at least at WL.
