Would it be that hard to bring Tapestry back?

As I sit here drinking out of WDW glass and listening to Tapestry of Nations I wonder...would it really be that hard to bring it back?! I went in August looking forward to see it. I grab a map and long behold no parade. Does Disney read these boards? They could get some pretty great ideas from all you Imagineers out there. What else do you think Disney should bring back? Perosonally I think they have the room to make a new Horizons at a tribute to the old. Take my advice Disney. Us WDW Freaks don't have tribute pages for nothing!

Hmmm...he usually does give good responses to questions about the park. Well...listen up Eisner! I understand progress but isn't that what Walt has land for? :zipit: That would be cool if Eisner did read the boards. Also I had an idea for a restuarant based on TOT. It's called The Tip Top Club. It can be located in Downtown Disney. Casual clothes with great food and some great 30's - 40's era music...LIVE! Just a thought. :animwink:

I've heard that darthdarrel is really Michael Eisner.

Somehow, I doubt that. Any suggestions made by someone outside Disney would automaticly be rejected, because of lawsuits. I assume, however, if there is a high-ranking Disney official on these boards, they wouldn't be allowed to actually post... I'm sure they're mouths are bounded by legal agreements and contracts for the most part.

Somebody is probably taking ideas from the boards....

If I remember WDWmagic was put in an article so people from the outside do read the boards.... The question is who?

If there is an imagineer out there listen up! I want cool dark rides! And make one with spidey techno!

Well, we don't know the condition of the puppets, drum wheels, nor the Sage costume. (I hope they burned the ToD stuff...)

If they do bring back ToN, the problem is that the puppets were altered, so changes would need to be made again, ditto for the drum wheels. Also, we don't know if the audio recording for ToN is still in the Epcot main-frame.

Nope... except it would be impossible to staff it...
Or would you be willing to do all the puppets, under paid...

From what I understand (and mind you, this is unconfirmed rumor from friends in Entertainment) it would be VERY hard... because the majority of the puppets have been destroyed.

Destroyed is such a negative term, lets say....

err... I mean...

I really hope that ToN comes back, but I doubt it. I know MKT hates it, but hey, you don't work at Epcot, so you don't have to worry about it!

Some of the puppets were used in tokyo for the 2 year anniversary TDS mini parade

Incorrect. From what I've seen, and heard form ex-puppet masters and EPCOT workers: the ToN puppets were scrapped in the dumpster and these puppets for Tokyo DisneySea were custom created to be smaller and fit the Japanese performers more easily. I've heard that these new ones are about 4 feet smaller and much lighter. - The WeirdOne :D

I did not know this. In that case Disney don't bother. I was just curious but y'all are so quick to shoot my dreams down. :( Thanks for the info.

We are not quick to shoot your dreams down, just quick to provide a reasonable answer. We don't want you to leave this board thinking there is a way to bring it back when in reality there isn't. We aren't quick to shoot them down, just quick to give you a realistic view of the idea. I'm sure many of us want to see ToN back, but it's impossible at this moment sadly. We don't mean to shoot your dreams down. - The WeirdOne :D

I understand that when Disney takes something away it's never coming back. Except Imagination but even that came back half butt. But magic is always possible at WDW. The one time I had this member respond to me really rudely, calling me woman and everything. I just posted a simple comment about something. I like when ppl give their replys but some ppl are just mean. I'm not commenting on you by any means. That meany head just popped into my mind. Since it can't come back they should create a TON x 10. How cool would that be?!
