Worth the risk?

Sooooo... We all know now that they released the free dining promotion for Sept. 2nd - 25th. The thing is, my wife and I want to go in October, not September! So here is the question: Should I risk the extra money ($315) and get a moderate resort (instead of a value resort) in hopes that they extend the offer? In years past I believe they extended the offer, so maybe they'll do it again? What is your opinion on this?

In my opinion you go at the time that works best for you. But don't count on them extending the offer. Plan on them not extending it. You can always alter your reservations as things change.

IMO, book for October. The last 3 years they have extended it. In 2010, it was originally released on May 3rd and extended on July 6th. In 2011, it was released on May 2nd and extended on August 3rd. And in 2012, it was released on March 5th and extended on July 12th. Seems like they are sticking with the trend. I'd say go when it's convenient. If they don't extend, I'll be surprised.

I would say keep it for Oct. I saw on another post that the chances are good to extend it, but I can be certain. If you dont get free dining just pay out of pocket. Im sure you will get a good room discount to help cover the dining cost. Plus it is gonna be so crowded this sept cause everyone is canceling and going in sept to get the free dining.
