Worth Staying for Tree of Life - Awakenings?

I am going to be in the AK for one day this weekend with my aunts and uncle, all of them are over 70, so we really wont be doing too many of the rides.

Unfortunately it looks like ROL will not be showing that night, so we would otherwise probably be heading back to the hotel for supper. Is the TOL-Awakenings show worth staying until it gets dark for?

I think it's personal opinion, it always draws a crowd. We enjoy seeing it.

It's really lovely and enjoyable in my opinion, but in your situation, I would definitely call it an earlier day and enjoy a nice meal and resort-relaxing time with your party.

Not sure if you want dinner outside of AK but you can always have dinner there then sit to watch the tree for a bit before leaving. It’s ongoing projections so sitting a while to watch it after dinner then stopping by Pandora on your way out might be nice. Assuming your family can stay that long and isn’t tired. My grandma loves to watch it and Pandora at night.

Every 70-something is of course different so it depends on the people with whom you are traveling. My mother just turned 75 and you have to pry her out of the park at night! She would much rather stay to see the park at night than leave for dinner.
