Worst WDW Restaraunt

I don't know if food courts count, but I think the Pepper Market at Coronado is awful. It's way over priced, and not at all convenient. The food itself was ok though, what little of it I actually had.

The Flame Tree BBQ always smells good, but its always so hot when I'm at AK that I can't imagine eating there. It's just too heavy.

My vote hands down would be Restaurant Akershus in Norway. It has been a couple of years since my unfortunate dining experience there. I just can't bring myself to try it again. YUCK!

I haven't really had a bad food experience at Disney yet. However, the waitress we had at Alfredo's in Italy kept trying to upselling us by bringing us things that we didn't order like bottled spring water. I don't really like eating at the Plaza Pavilion anymore because there are too many seagulls.

I havent had a bad food experince but I have had a bad drink experience. At Epcot at the Ice Station Cool I was trying the sodas and most of them were good until I got to Beverly from Spain. When I drank that I wanted to gag :hurl:

We had a very poor experience at the Rainforest Cafe at DTD. Very slow service, food barely warm, etc, etc.
At the time we were staying at Port Orleans and visited DTD most evenings - we have never been to Rainforest since.

Yeah I wasnt impressed with the Rainforest Cafe. The food wasnt that good for the price. I actually liked the food in morocco, the only thing I had there was a baklava though, and how can you go wrong with a baklava it was so good.

This is a tough thread to deal with because food preferences are so personal and dining experiances may vary from one time to the next.

Someone mentioned that Flame Tree Bar-B-Que was their worst dining experiance but I found their pulled Pork Sandwich to be the best I've ever had and my wife whole heartedly agrees. We found a nice table in a cool shady spot by the river and had quiet conversation in a relaxed atmoshere.

I'm sure many of you Love eating at The Coral Reef at The Living Seas but my wife and I had a horrible experiance there last year. We had bad seats and a waiter that constantly dissappeared for long periods at a time. I thought the menu was very limited and when we finally did get our food, it was nothing like what was described in the menu. All this and the cost ($90) made us decide never to eat there again.

Eating out anytime is a basically a gamble. Sometimes everything goes well...sometimes nothing goes right.:p

I've eaten at Akershus, Marrakesh, and Rainforest Cafe and loved them all.

Nine Dragons however, and Sci-Fi at MGM - you'd have to pay me to go back to either of those.

My vote goes to the restaurant in the Mexican Pavillion at Epcot. My wife was telling me how I was going to go nuts over "real" Mexican food. When they brought my dinner out I laughed because the portions were so small. Our waiter was pretty pahtetic too. I'd had better Mexican food at my elemetary school cafeteria than that. :hurl:

Have a nice week, everybody.

That honor would have to go to the The Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom. EXTREMELY loud kids, stupid kids diving in front of me knocking my loaded plate from the buffet on to the floor, and watching a poor Tigger get knocked down by 6 crazy kids completely ruined what could have been a good dining experience (the food was actually pretty good). I tried it again (I never learn) on my last trip down, and unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't much better, and the food wasn't all that great either.

Beverly is a non-alcoholic apertif... with a burnt-clove essence for the discerning mature palate.

Oh, ok... it's pretty bad.:(

Ever tried to see how much of Beverly you can drink at one time? I cleared 5 cups before gagging viciously and being thrown out by a couple of CMs.

I am hardcore.
