To all who come to this imaginative place—Welcome. Worlds of Imagination are your worlds, where worlds we only dreamed of become real.
Worlds of Imagination originally started out as a lockdown project, after I had finished Walt Disney Imagineering’s and Khan Academy’s Imagineering in a Box. I took those techniques that I learned from the imagineers, and I designed my first “castle park”.
(1)Main Street
A mix of European and American Victorian era architecture, Main Street has the finest shops and eateries in the park, including the French Bistro. This land is home to the Main Street Railroad, Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln, and the Penny Arcade.
(2)Tomorrowland
Despite its name, Tomorrowland doesn’t chase the future—it’s rooted in the space age, with its white, monolithic, googie architecture. Houses the monorail, Space Mountain, Rocket to the Moon drop tower ride, and the Carousel of Progress (a ride showing technological advances from 1980s—2040s).
(3)Fantasyland
Dedicated to worlds of fantasy and whimsy, Fantasyland is a collection of three mini areas: Cinderella’s Castle, The Fantasyland Theater, and The North Mountain. This area has a Frozen log flume ride, a carousel, and Mickey’s Premiere (a dark ride through Mickey’s black and white world).
(4)Star Wars: Lennahc
A town from the world of Lennahc in Star Wars. This land was created to allow for full storytelling potential, and its most prominent feature are its trees with translucent leaves. The land is home to a major dark ride which is set after the Star Wars Sequels, detailing the First Order’s Last Stand, where they open the World Between Worlds (See Wookiepedia) and many major characters from the past come into the present. Lennahc is Channel spelled backwards; my major inspiration was the Channel Islands in CA.
(5)Shanghai Road
Modeled off of Shanghai’s most prominent locations, Nanjing Road and The Bund (a major street bordering the Huangpu River), Shanghai Road contains replicas of many major buildings, like the Customs House, and many typical Shanghainese buildings. This land is set in the 1920s-1930s. It will house a major attraction in the future.
(6)Avengers HQ
A hotel resort area with Avengers tower as the primary hotel and an entertainment area for shows.
