World Showcase DVC...What happened?

I seem to recall a rumor a while back around a DVC making its way into one of the unused parcels of land in WS. I have not heard anything of this an at least over a year. Is it still happening?

If they were trying to "Grand California" Into Epcot I would be quite unpleased..

Bad rumor. They may have talked about it, but there are no plans or drawings. Seems like the next DVC after the new VWL construction might be the River Country DVC. Engineering plans are already complete.

There were two proposals from what I know. One behind / next to / on top of Energy with access from the parking lot and one in Showcase with access either from the Epcot resort area or from Buena Vista Drive. Thankfully it's gone very quiet.

There again so did the Persian. Maybe they've realised perhaps they should fix the park first.

On Top of UoE? Somehow with the design of that just wouldn't look right to begin with...
