World of Disney Store change "change" your mind?

Did the refurbishment of the World of Disney store deter you from not shopping there as much?

I dunno, old World of Disney felt like home, but I understand why they updated it.

Old WoD felt like a complete maze, with something everywhere. It was very immersive, it was very inviting, and there was so much to take in. Everything was super distracting, to the point where it was easy to get seperated from your party. When I did my CP, one of my friends worked at WoD and explained everyday they delt with at least 10 "Lost Parents" incidents. I worked at Pecos Bill and encountered two sets of Lost Parents my entire 6 months working there. Overcluttered spaces with highly distracted families is absolutely a safety issue.

I'll miss Ursula's vanity every time I step foot into WoD though.

They could have redesigned the store in a way that kept theme and whimsy, with very wll organized spaces that are easy to understand...The Old store at least had identifiable rooms... The Jewelry Room, The Men's Store room, The housewares room.... Now it just feels like a big random mess... I am sure there is some order to it, but I am not longer ever in there long enough to figure it out... It just isn't fun to shop there anymore. Bottom line. Same with the Creations shop in EPCOT... Too much like The Gap or Target... Nothing entices me to go in and mill around.... It's just shelves of stuff.

I can show them some grace on some of the other poor decisions they've made over the years, but these bed bath and beyond stores really grind my gears. The original Disney Store was a destination in its own right. We would literally add it to our itenerary when visiting Orlando.

Likewise...We always added time to go to the World Of Disney and the Disney Gallery store at Disney Springs... The Gallery store was terrible last time I was in... Which has been a couple years now... It got really bad for a while...Not sure it is even still there....

I think its still there, but my God what generic art. The same pieces you see in every store. They used to have such unique art, you could only find in Orlando which made it a bit more special.

I loved that store...( the old version) Real paintings, not just poster prints... I bought a couple signed serigraphs there among many other things...
