It just got released on the 18th and it's an amazingly good game. For those that don't know about it, it's a Real-Time Strategy game, similar in style to the Command & Conquer series. It starts in November, 1989 where in an alternate timeline, the Soviet Union has been fighting NATO forces in Europe. A report comes in from the Coast Guard near Seattle of unidentified container ships approaching the harbor. Before anyone knows what's happening, Soviet gunships lift off from the container ships and start to attack American soil. You have to command what forces are still in the US and not overseas in order to slow down the invasion and eventually turn it back. The cinematics are fantastic, the level of detail on high end machines is just beautiful, but it's still great on a decent computer as well. The environments are totally destructable and will cause movement and visibility issues for units. Just incredible all around.

Also, there are two versions in stores, the standard one that just comes with the game and for about $10 more there is a Collector's Edition that has a behind the scenes DVD for the making of the game, an episode of the History Channel program "Modern Marvels: The Berlin Wall," and... an actual piece of the Berlin Wall itself. Needless to say, as a history buff I got the Collector's Edition for the piece of the Wall. :D

They also have it so you can play online, so if you get a copy let me know and maybe we can team up sometime.
