Hey everyone

I will be in Disney World this year during the World Cup and would like to catch some of the best games. I know that in 2014 there were a lot of places showing the game including a World Cup Hub at Epcot's Odyssey Center that showed every single game. I will be at Epcot on June 17 and would love to catch Brazil's game at 2 PM, but I haven't found online any sort of events planned for this years World Cup.

Does any soccer fan in here know how I should proceed? Are there any places at Epcot that normally show sport events (Rose & crown maybe?) ?

Thanks a lot guys!

Not sure on Epcot but ESPN club on the boardwalk which is a 5 minute walk from the International gateway at Epcot will have it on if not I would think...

We will be on Epcot that day and the game really is a priority for us. Maybe it would be good to leave early to go to ESPN and then come back to the park?

Sure that would work, shouldn’t be too busy in there either as it’s early afternoon, seems to pick up more from about 4 depending on what sports are on. Literally a 5 minute walk out the back of Epcot

Sorry if that sounds like a dumb question, but how does it work for me to get back into Epcot after I'm done at ESPN Club? Is there an entrance from Disney Boardwalk if I want to walk back to the World Showcase? My plan is to finish everything at Future World by 12 and then head to ESPN Club, so I can then return to Epcot in the afternoon to do the World Showcase and Illuminations. I have been multiple times to Epcot but I have never walked from Epcot to the Boardwalk before, so i am not sure.

All of the resorts should have the games on their TVs at the pool bar.. you may want to hang out at your resort for that game. We’ve done that with college football games, honestly some of our best memories at WDW!

The people at the pool get into it, as well as so many tourists around the resort that day. We spent most of our evening, post game, drinking/eating around the monorail and high five-ing other fans. :)

(P.s. I hope Brazil gets an L) ;)

Thanks for the tip! I appreciate it my friend.
The thing is we have Fast Passes for Soarin' and the Character Spot in the morning so since we have to go to Epcot for that, we were gonna do Test Track, Mission Space and everything else on Future World before the game. We are also going to the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party in the evening so it would be a lot more convenient for us to stay around Epcot/Boardwalk on that day.

However, now that you mentioned it I plan to watch the second game (August 22nd) while having breakfast at the resort! Sounds like a fun experience :)

Yes you can get straight back in through the International Gateway into the world showcase to finish the day...
A much quieter entrance and 5 min walk

If you check the map the gateway in and out is between the U.K. and the bridge over to the France pavilion

Hey Stephanie

Sorry if I am too late, but I just got back home from our Disney vacation. I decided to walk to the ESPN Club at the Disney Boardwalk from Epcot's World Showcase, it's only a 5-6 minute walk. We had a blast. The food and drinks are amazing, lots of screens and you don't even need to arrive that early to get a table (at least on the day that I went). We arrived 2 hours before the game as it was a big deal for us and we wanted to make sure we were there, but some people got there 30-40 minutes before and still got a nice table.
