I don't know if it is moving again or not...but when I rode that thing in early summer 2007...I've never felt that on any other ride...they said it was an AA...but I wasn't so sure...it looked so real!!

EE became my favorite coaster on earth....and it still is...but not by the miles it was.

the reason that the yeti isn't in a mode is because there is structural damage because the yeti is connected to a main support column and the only way to fix it is to take parts of expedition everest to fix it.

The yeti has been removed before and it can be removed again, all without affecting normal operation. I don't blame you for not knowing, as it seems a lot of people are confused. I do blame you a bit for bumping a thread for it, though.

Will this legend ever die?

Well, since he bumped it, and I've been away for a while... what is the actual reason then? I'm guessing it is something simple like "they don't want to invest in fixing him" but I'm hoping not. :D

Just from my memory of what our resident insiders have said, there's been a lot of blame-placing between Imagineering and park operations, so no one's footed the bill. Guys like @marni1971 know more than I do. :) Or take a look at the Expedition Everest Effects Status Watch thread, and you'll find discussion about it.
