I don't know all of the woods view, but the one we had was really nice, it was the 3rd. floor looking toward the villas. Many trees, and very, very quiet, with a walking path just below us. It was probably one of the most peaceful rooms we've ever had.

Woods View rooms are along the "outside" (non-courtyard) side of both wings.

The left-hand wing (when standing in the lobby looking out at the courtyard) is all Woods View, I believe. (Though some of those rooms overlook a service area and might be Standard View)
And the right-hand wing starts as Woods, but at some point becomes Courtyard/Pool View.

This from "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Walt Disney World"....
"Best Room Locations: Be certain that you do NOT have a room that looks out onto the main lobby. The high noise level generated by the Whispering Canyon Cafe in the evenings makes it hard to get young children to sleep early. If you can get to the left side of either wing as it projects out to the lake, your views will improve."
You should also be able to pull up some threads that some people have of pics with views from some rooms...trees at many points...so you cannot see much...but is that not the point...to have quiet views to enjoy your morning coffee...or a glass of something to wind down in the evening? Enjoy your stay...that is where we will be when next we arrive!

Not quite true, it used to be before the Villas were there. Now the outside of the villas side wing after the L which is directly across from the villas' pool is considered a courtyard view. I prefer that wing as opposed to the other because it is quiet and relaxing. We love to sit on our balcony and have breakfast and just enjoy the scenery.
