I just booked a flight to LA and a couple nights at the Hilton Anaheim for my first trip to Disneyland since March of 1999!!!

My wife has never been there, and since it has been so long, there is plenty I have never seen, including ALL of California Adventure (I know a lot of people don't like it, but now I get to judge for myself), and Downtown Disney.

Plus, I get Indiana Jones, Mr. Toad, Pinocchio, Alice, Matterhorn.

I am so happy!

One question for those here in the know:

We are going to arrive around noon on wednesday the 27th, our flight leaves LAX friday at 3, so at best we would only be able to be in the parks until noon on that day. Is it worth the extra $66 to buy a 3-day park hopper?

Thanks

I can tell you the week between Christmas and New Year's is INSANE there, apparently... You might need that extra morning just to see everything once.

But have a GREAT time!!

I would do the 3-day park hopper because of the early entry on Thursday (fact check that, but I'm pretty sure Thursday is one of the days). You can buy it online at www.disneyland.com at a discounted price, and it comes with an early entry. When we did early entry this year, we went on Toad, Pan, Pinocchio, Snow White, Alice, Teacups, Space and IASM in the hour before the masses were let in. You should probably be able to get Matterhorn in as well, now that it's open again! Made a HUGE difference in how much we were able to see. I highly recommend it. I hope you have SO much fun!!

Enjoy your trip to DL. Although WDW is still tops in my book, DL is a treat, especially now that they have redone a lot for the 50th. Don’t miss Space Mountain; it is everything I wish the WDW Space was. I have been on all versions of Space Mountain including Space Mountain 2 in Paris but the new DL version is my favorite. Have a good trip.

Enjoy your trip to DL and DCA!! Make sure you see Believe...In Holiday Magic. It's the best firework show I've ever seen. It's amazing!! Also, get there at least an hour early to get a good seat in front of the castle. That's the best place to see them.
