My own personal utopian plan would be to bring COP over from MK, update it and attach it to the pavillion and then re-do the attraction as a "human potential" pavillion and cover our world and beyond. Renewable energy, transportation, technology, genetics and exploration all could be encompassed in a pavillion about all we are and could be motif.

I agree with most posters that something should be built in the pavilion. My family and friends check it out during Food and Wine. We just walk around and enjoy what is there. I love the retro feel. And, of course, the free Ghiradelli chocolate they give out.

I remembered last year there was some news about "Selective Demolition" For WoL.
http://www.stitchkingdom.com/disney-wonders-life-pavilion-epcot-selective-demolition-22070/

It's been well over 11 months now since it's been mentioned and there hasn't been any physical things going on..Unless it was more for the areas that couldn't be seen by guests...Anyone know more of this lately?
I don't know if they removed any of the big room setups or not. But they could have removed everything from the Cranium Command area and Body Wars area and we wouldn't have seen any of that.

There already is one, it's called Spaceship Earth.

At the time, it was a great pavilion - but yes, got a bit dated towards the end (remind you of anything else in Future World?). A shame that they didn't keep up with the rest of the world. It's still a great subject that blends in well with the rest of FW though, and c'mon, the pavilion is already built. If they're not going to use it for WoL, at least use it for something other than a storage locker and festival tent. What a waste.

Its a shame for it to be closed. This pavillion had several attractions which may have needed touch ups towards the end but overall it was a thorough and well thought out pavvillion that did its job well. It taught educated and reenforced key concepts on health and wellbeing. With a little money and love this pavillion would be great

Gotta disagree with you as I pretty much think of SSE as communications through the ages and there are so many other areas that it does not touch on like the renewable resources, genetic makeup of us, space and beyond and probably a half dozen other topics not really hit on in SSE. In my mind though the current iteration of SSE has been so homogenized it really isn't about anything anymore. The only area that it seems to diversify from communications is the touchscreen overlay at the end that is just eye candy to distract from the lack of anything else on the descent and not much else. Just my $0.02 though and everyone is allowed two pennies!

I would have voted No. I'm not against it much and if it did come back I won't fight it, much better than remaining pretty abandoned. However I just much rather see more imagination put into it. Rather then getting lazy and bringing something only so-so and less beloved back, I'd like to see something new. A weather Pavilion as one said or to me, more space. Space is such a huge topic and they only have one ride, a headache at that. I know the KSC is nearby but I still think disney could play a lot more with the subject. Another thing is the science of history.(Not the History of science) Discuss how the Roman built there temples or how did the Eygyptians mummified the bodies. I'd really like to see what'd they do with that, considering its my favorite subject/topic.

The science behind Archaeology, I presume! ^^
