Wonders of Life, Timekeeper Reopenings in March

YAY!!!! :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: I'm so excited that Wonders of Life is going to be open during my Spring Break!

I can't say that I don't wish the eateries and the shops were still there, that the pavillion was better taken care of, and that all the queues were full...but right now, I'm just thrilled that I'm going to get to see Cranium Command and Body Wars again! After all, who knows if this visit to what was once my favorite pavillion will be my last.

Thanks for the info!

What do you mean outdated....a teenage boys mind and hormonal flux is exactly the same  I figure you mean the actor references, but even if you don't recognize them as Cheers or SNL cast and characters, their show is still entertaining. Younger kids wouldn't get the SNL references even when it was new.

I just meant like the outfits that the kids wear, etc...It looks like it was made in the 80's...which it was...not that that's a bad thing...I love the 80's

Thanks, Phil. This makes WoL even MORE of a ghost town.

This is so depressing.

Crap is it even worth opening WoL if they aren't going to keep everything going? It's the little things that were special about the pavilion anyways.

Truely sad pictures.

It's outdated, but many of the attractions, especially Cranium Command, are still guest favorites, and are still just as enchanting for new guests. :)

I saw both Cranium Command, and Timekeeper for the first time ever last December. Consider me enchanted.

I really hope they are open in the summer (July). In all the times I've been to WDW I've NEVER seen Timekeeper. It's always closed, as is the fast food stop El Pirata y El Perico (or something like that, at the exit of POTC). I don't know if I'm a fan of Timekeeper or not, but I'd sure like the chance to see it and make my own opinion before it is put down forever. I just don't understand what the point is in having an attraction in the parks that is intentionally shut down every time I've been there. IMHO, they need to either open it all the time for guests to enjoy or replace it with something that will be open all the time, but please stop teasing me with those "seasonal" signs!

(sorry for the rant, had surgery this morning and the Vicodin is GOOODDDD stuff!!  )

Just back from my trip like 5 min ago... I saw WOL for the first time since I was maybe 7 years old... I forgot how much stuff is in that place... theres lots to explore in their.... allthough when I walk through I sort of feel like im in the pages of my old out of date Health textbook from Jr. High, with some really good remodeling and a new film for body wars that pavilion could be pretty darn cool... maybe they should introduce a new attraction and retheme it

Yeah, I just got back from WDW last week...got to go to WoL for the first time in three years. Seeing it like that broke my heart. When we went to BW, I was excited because the line was much longer than it's been since TT opened...but then I saw that only one of the four bays was in use. They opened a second one right after I got in line, but still...Even my mom, with whom I had not discussed the fate of WoL, just looked at me and said "This isn't going to be here on our next visit, is it?"

Cranium Command is EVERY BIT as funny now as it was the first time I saw it. And after four years of college, I was amazed at how accurate the film in Body Wars is (except for the capillaries, everything else seemed right to me!).

I definitely hope that the pavillion had so few guests because it was early in the morning. After all, it was a Spring Break week, and the park was fairly full...it had to be packed after the rush to TT and M:S were over. Even SSE had at least a twenty minute wait.

WOL just screams 80's out of every nook and cranny. I personally like it, but I guarantee you my girlfriend who was born in 85, and wouldn't get 90% of the celebs in CC would shoot me in the head if I made her go in it. That pavilion is the epitome of cheese, and while I love the old cheese factor of lots of the older Epcot stuff, it's not going to translate well to modern audiences. Do I want to see a wrecking ball hit it, no. Would the space better serve the paying public who wants a real sense of thrill and adventure as a completely new ride or pavilion, yes. I hate to say it, it's just time. Look at Schiavo, she hung on as a vegetable for 15 years before she was finally allowed to go. Don't make this place a Schiavo, let it go with dignity, and don't let it sit in a closed vegitative state for years on end.
