Was just checking the list on Disney's site and all that's listed for January-March is The Land's attractions being closed. There is no longer a mention of Wonders of Life being seasonal and no mention that it's closed. I'm guessing that this means it's going to officialy be open during The Land's 3 month rehab coming up in a few weeks and should be open from the 18th of December onward. Hopefully it won't close down again April 1st, but only time will tell that.

At least management is opening it up during the downtime at The Land. Hope the people who go during that time will enjoy it while it's still around.

I think it's going to have to be open, to have both of those closed for extended periods at the same time is a bit out of character for Epcot. I don't really any times when 2 pavilions were down for extended simultaneous closures. There is no mention of WOL even being seasonal on the December updates, just that it's operating on the 18th onward which makes it seam like the only reason it's being mentioned at all is that it was closed for more than half of the month. Once it's opening on a daily basis there is no need to mention that it's seasonal or currently opening, until April when they'll either shutter it again or keep it open. Either way I think this is quite positive news of it being open for at least 3 months.

When they gutted and removed Pure & Simple and the store, that seemed out of place too...
I'm not saying that the place has long for this world, but I think that people would complain about paying now close to $60 a day to go to EPCOT and have 1/4 of the future world pavilions closed. Not to turn this in to a needs replacement/should be updated thread but I'd say that one of the next things to happen at EPCOT will be either demolition and replacement or updating of WOL. The only other thing I could think of would be to keep it as it is and do something to Energy and re-open WOL in it's place, and then turn their attention to doing whatever they plan to do with it.

I'm not so sure. Although it is the largest, I believe that is mainly because almost half of the pavilion is a greenhouse. Not really a guest area at that. However, that is the only counter service food location on that side of the park.

I believe that the park can do without Living with the Land and Circle of Life for a while. However, I'm not so sure about the Sunshine Season Food Fair and the Garden Grille. This severely limits your eating choices in Future World. In all of Future World, there will be only one counter service eatery, one table service eatery, and an expresso bar. Then of course you have the outdoor carts everywhere, but still. I believe this creates a major problem. Not really attraction wise, but food wise in Future World. Are there any plans to re-open the Pasta Piazza Ristorante in Innoventions West while this rehab is going on?

I know you find it odd that I'm not concerned with attraction choices, but I think the FOOD will be the main problem. Future World's attractions are still there, and if Future World didn't have World Showcase to compliment it, then you'd have a problem. But since it does, there's plenty of things to do to fill a day at the park.
