Wondering if this is part of the cuts

We were at Epcot tonight for the first time this vacation. After Illuminations was over and we were exiting the park, we noticed there were no cast members waving goodbye as we filed by the fountains in FW. This really disappointed me. It has always been such a nice touch on the way out of the park. It was a Monday night so I am wondering if this is due to staffing cuts or if they only do that on weekend nights and I have just never realized that

They must all be at magic kingdom. The front gates with the metal detector, police, dogs, cms, undercover, you would think its the airport. It is quite horrible (i understand) but horrible nonetheless.

The calm before the Frozen storm. Enjoy it while it lasts.

This was exactly the point I made to my other half. We're there May 1st-15th and even though we're both disappointed about missing the opening of Frozen Ever After, I am excited about how quiet EPCOT will be as people will be putting off visits :). That is unless they have an extremely early soft opening!

We actually thought the WS was quite busy yesterday. Oh Canada and Impression's de France were the fullest we've seen them in years and this was on a Monday. Wasn't that crowded in FW but didn't think it was real slow either.

I have found it to be hit and miss that you'll find CM's waving goodbye from the fountain since about 2004. Early 2K's, there would be anywhere from 10-20+ along the fountain rails. Now, maybe 5, maybe none.

I've always noticed that they were there during days of particularly high park attendance. I figured they were there to bring some extra magic to an otherwise crowded and possibly stressful exit

Why do people think Frozen is really going to bring a HUGE boost?
I just spent a week in Disneyland and during the parades and fireworks the only time the crowd reacted with gasps, screams and cheers was when Anna and Elsa showed up or when the music for Let It Go hit. Whether anyone likes it or not, people still want Frozen and soon Epcot will be the only place you can go to visit Arendelle and ride a Frozen ride, it will be busy.
