Wondering if I can just have a gigantic beer at Biergarten?

Heading down in three weeks, wanted to know if it was possible just to grab a beer or three at Biergarten without eating there. Wife isn't big into the whole German fare, even though she married into the "Stangl" name! Thanks!

Well you can get the beer from the outside booths and the biggest they have is those long collector glasses, but if you want the 1 liter of beer you do have to eat inside the resturant:slurp:

Not me btw, just found the pic

Nice that sounds good, $11 for a decent beer with a souvenir glass isn't too bad. Any other suggestions for having a good beer around Disney? I am a bit of a beer snob and this will be my first trip where I would like to have a few drinks while there :slurp:

You can get Moosehead at Canada and Sam Adams at U.S.

Make your way to Down Town Disney. Go to the T-Rex rest. and sit at the bar. Order the gauntlet of beer. Its huge and it comes frozen. I have to go there everytime Im there:wave:

The food isn't very German - its more like American food, with a few German things thrown in. (Hope that makes sense!) It's not all wurst and sauerkraut! We went there with my daughter, who is a picky eater, and there was plenty for her to choose from. It might be worth trying lunch there - the atmosphere and entertainment are fun.

I have been to Trex and must have missed this Gauntlet of beer. I can not find any info about it anywhere. What is it? Just one giant beer? or more like a beer flight? Expensive?

I had some great beer last trip, but it was the F&W Festival.
