"Wonder Waffle" from Wonders of Life?

I was just poking around over at Lost Epcot (http://www.lostepcot.com/index.html), and came across pictures of "Wonder Waffles" from "Pure and Simple" at the Wonders of Life pavilion. I did a search on here and google, but couldn't find anything about them. What was special about them? Were they healthy in some way, or were they just called the wonder waffle because they were in the wonders of life pavilion? The picture just showed heart shaped waffles.
I'm interested in all things extinct in Disney---esp. Epcot, and these waffles have me wondering now!

Does anyone else have any pictures/recollections of the Pure and Simple area or the food they sold there?
I heart old Epcot pics! Bring em on!

If he does not reply PM marni1971. More than likely he can tell you the what they were made of, what was special about them, the exact temperature the waffle iron was set at, the date and time the first and last one was made, etc.

If they were sold at Pure and Simple, then odds are there was not much special about them other than the name... since that was the "healthy" place, I doubt you got anything awesome like tons of whipped cream, a gallon of syrup, and a metric ton of chocolate chips. :lookaroun

That's what I was thinking, and that's why I was interested. I was wondering if they came up with some sort of healthy whole grain, yet amazingly delicious recipe, and that's why it was a "wonder"!

I am a pretty big fan of the IHOP harvest grain and nut pancakes, so I'd be interested in seeing if you find a recipe.
