WL Bus

I had read a few weeks back that Disney was trying out a direct bus route to the MK from the WL.
Have they continued it? Is there any plan to do away with it and go back to the old route?

Was there ever a bus from Wilderness Lodge to Magic Kingdom?

I thought your only option was the boat.

I don't know why they would have a bus AND a boat going the same place. WL is one of the smallest resorts at WDW. (Perhaps THE smallest?)

Not sure what the old route was but back in late Aug, the bus went right to WL from MK then on to FW. From WL it went right to MK.

BTW, I hate the boat. Too hot, too slow.

I am just going by what I had read on here a few weeks back. There was a post that discussed it, but I could not find it with the search function.
We are going in Oct to stay at WL and were just hoping to know for sure.

When I was there two weeks ago, I saw several buses to the WL from the MK. They were loading at Bus Stop 4. At first, I thought that it was just because it was raining that day, but I also saw the bus when it was bright and sunny outside.

Have no idea whether or not it's still running, but if anyone wants to fund a fact-finding mission for me this weekend, I would be more than happy to check for all of you... you know... for information's sake... :lookaroun

Just remembered where I had seen the information on the bus from WL. There was a blurb in the last DVC newsletter that stated that Disney was experimenting with a bus route to run direct from WL to the MK.

However, I am sure that information is weeks old by now and I was hoping to know if it is still running.
