Wishing Stars Park Quests

I ran across a discussion of a new App coming out for the iPhone August 24th. It's called "Wishing Stars", which is going to be interactive quests around Disneyland. Your goal is to find missing fragments of a star hidden around the park, using the iPhone's GPS technology, you MUST be at that exact location in order to continue.

According to their site there will be these levels: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Ultimate. They claim some ultimate quests may take several days to complete. There will be fill in the blank questions, pictures where you have to find that spot, and hints on where you need to go.

It says more quests will be added (14 will be available at launch) but updates may cost money. Sometime in the fall they will be releasing a Disney World version. (hopefully an EPCOT one too )

I'm surprised Disney didn't invest in coming out with official quest apps, I heard something about a Toy Story Mania Game App but it's not out yet. I've only seen a few iPhone Apps published by Disney (fairies, g-force, UP, and a card game).

A couple/few questions

I love in park quests. Had a blast doing VMK (RIP) with my family.

The application looks like a lot of fun but...

1) How much does it cost?
2) I do not have a iPhone. That means I miss out?
3) New quests will be added. Do the old ones go away after a time?
4) To request help. Normal texting or internet charges apply?

Like I said it looks like a lot of fun. I'll will be in DL in November. Hopefully I will be able to try it. Oh and the Florida version would be geat.

1. Price, not sure. Their website doesn't say yet.

2. It requires an iPhone, specificly the 3G and 3GS for it's GPS technology. They mentioned something about an iPod Touch version later and possibly a Blackberry version.

3. The old ones won't go away, but they are not repeatable. So once you've completed them, they just sit there unless you delete and re-install the app.

4. I would assume so. Not sure though. :shrug:
