(Wishful thinking) Creative use for the imagination pavilion? Tron?

Creative use?

Journey Into the Forgotten Relics of WDW's Past. Sift through one random encounter after another as you narrowly escape nostalgia overload. On your left, some singing fruit and vegetables, on your right, some cut songs from the Country Bear Jamboree.

Of course many of the props, etc are long since gone.

Like other have said Tron track is your Tron ride now! With a new que and a few more lighting effects in the ride, you can easily call it Tron Track.

Another poster stated they wanted a WALLE ride, which I am all for, however, I think something of that nature should replace Universe of Energy and turn it into a Green Energy Pavillion and make it a classic edutainment ride!

I would like if they did something new with Inagination as long as Figment is still a part of it and the upstairs is opened back up.

Test track 2 is a ride ride focused on car design, not technology. The similarities to tron are merely superficial, like the colors and lighting. There's no complex storyline following characters, no audio animatronics, no tron music, no tron scenery. It's actually unfortunate that disney created a ride that has such a skin deep resemblance to tron in test track, as it takes away from the potential of an amazing ride experience, with so many people making correlations between the two, when really they are worlds apart. A true tron character driven ride would be much better and different than driving a design car through dark neon hallways.

That why I said to spruce it up so it can more fit into an actual Tron Attraction. Some additional lighting and effects, a few animatronics grown in with a cool techno soundtrack would be fun! And I agree with what someone said about tunneling t outdoor area! It would be really cool!

I think the whole purpose of EPCOT should be preserved within this attraction. Journey into Imagination, Figment, Dreamfinder...those were all amazing and inspiring characters. I think the forcing of movie overlays into rides is dumbing down the rides themselves. Instead of sticking with a movie plot or following a character, you were following something unique, something that you only experienced at Disney and I still believe is timeless. Movies and sequels come and go, but the true Disney creations stay forever.

I am more for creating a pavillion that is original and not based on movies for epcot. They can still be popular. Such as soarin, spaceship earth, test track, space mountain. I just wish they were more educational, but educational isnt as popular.

My one exception for now would be a ratatouille ride in france.
