"Wishes" ?

ok so I was just reading over in the Disneyland section of the Laughingplace.com Forums that the "Fronteirland " section will be removed from "Rememberreams Come True" are there any plans to abbreviate "Wishes" as well?

No, no plans. Remember may be gone totally later this year, but Wishes isn`t changing.

The question you need to ask is "Why are they removing it from Remember - and do they have the same reason to remove something from Wishes?"

I don't see any connection.

Well, Wishes is suffering from a late shipment so some pyro will be cut for the next month or so.

From what I've read on MiceChat "Remember..." is going away because its too big a show. They have to close half of Fantasyland an hour before hand to show it, including a major thoroughfare around the Matterhorn. This causes a lot of complaints from casual visitors. Too bad in a way, because it is an absolutely stunning show that blows Wishes away, even though I love wishes too.

According to today's Miceage article Michael O'Grattan (who was recently promoted to VP of Creative Entertainment) did not like that a dozen attractions and major walkways were being closed every night in order to show Remember. They are now developing a new show that would require no more than 2 attractions to be closed while it is going on.

Not necessarily toned down, but the pyro launches would be put in places that are set up better.

And that's a shame about the FL shots...Those added great depth to the show. At least we still have the Pirate's Fight, right?

I totally agree! We just happened to be staying at the Contemporary (theme park side) and were able to watch from the balcony. This show was FANTASTIC!
