Wishes!! Where is your fave spot to watch it?

I myself am in love with being in or around the main street. This trip we will watch it from the Pirates and Pals Cruise. I am sure this will be fun and a great new experience, but I am thinking we definitely need to see it in park at least one time this trip too.

I am totally ruined for life now, because on one of our last trips they upgraded us to a Theme Park view concierge room at the Poly. It was amazing. Sadly I doubt I will ever be willing to pay the actual rate for such a room, so I may never see it from that spot again.

So, hands down, the best way to watch Wishes is nightly, from your private balcony, in your pajamas, while you eat desserts and drink wine that you grabbed from the lounge. :D

Do you get to hear the music?

Maybe it won't be so bad. We are staying at the contemporary and requested a ground floor, patio room next to the beach. Probably won't be lucky enough to get it. But still.

Anywhere on Main Street or the hub that isn't blocked by tree limbs, tall people or guys with kids on their shoulders...or behind people who are filming it without dimming their screens (especially people with iPads.)

It's also fun to catch a peek before the Splash drop. :)
I'm 6'3" and about 280 and sometimes feel guilty standing in the hub with people trying to see around me. At Illuminations recently we had a choice spot right up front with a straight on view of the globe when a family with a young daughter and son comes up behind us straining to see. I stepped back and let the kids in font of me right on the fence, then of course I had to let their parents come up with the kids. Resented it for a minute or two, till both kids turned around, without prompting from their parents and said "thank you" in unison. Sometimes being tall can be a pain, but its the only way I know how to be.:)

I don't blame tall people for being tall! I also don't think they don't deserve a spot! I'm just not going to go stand behind one when I want a good view. I am fine with all 6'3" of you standing anywhere you please. :)

I do think the camera (especially iPad) people are a pain. I get their enthusiasm, but...it is a a bit of a pain for others.
