Wishes Question

I am looking at the MK calendar,a nd I see that the park closes at 7pm on Friday, April 28th. I was considering going to the MK either that day, or Wednesday the 26th, when the park is open until 9pm, and was thinking that later in the week might be more fun (save the best for last)?

However, I imagine that there is no Wishes performance on days when they close at 7pm. Is that correct?

Also, would crowds be less on a day when they close earlier?

There is no Wishes on April 28th. The reason for the early closer that night is Grad Night. Grad Night is an after-hours event held on a handful of nights in April and May. The event is only open to graduating seniors from participating High Schools.

Without a night show the crowds during the day probably won't be much different however they will clear out faster towards the end of the night (no night show to wait for).

Worth the Wait

If you have never seen Wishes, it is my recommendation that you wait until it is showing again. It is breathtaking and magical. :sohappy: Wishes is my all-time favorite fireworks show.

Yes, I quite agree. Also, as for saving 'best for last' I generally do quite the opposite, and to MK first...nothing can really start your trip out the same way, in my opinion

Make sure you see Wishes somewhere you can hear the narration. I will be on a boat the next time I watch it so I am bringing a CD player with the sound track just so I can listen along.

Yep, Wishes is definitely awesome. Something I would recommed also is check if any of the days you are going will have a "Spectromagic" parade. This is so awesome and I didn't get to see it the first two trips to WDW. When I saw it this last time, it was AMAZING! Don't know how often they do shows this time of year, but if there IS one, I'd recommend seeing it! Its right around Wishes anyway, so you could see one then the other!

If I wasn't such a greedy person I would tell you one of the best places to sit during the show, but if I do when I want to watch the show someone else will be there and I won't be able to see it:cry: :animwink: Oh by the way 3 MORE DAYS !!!!!!!!!!!!
