Hello! I have not seen HEA in a long long time (just once lol) but I would like to know your opinion in these fireworks shows:
Wishes or HEA?

I would pick Wishes since it has better and catchy songs but I think HEA has great projection that Wishes never had.

Just my opinions.

I've warmed to HEA. Still don't need to see projections on MS. They're distracting. I watched it several weeks ago from the train station so I could dash out after it was over. Believe it or not, you can see the projections pretty well. You need to configure yourself so that the flagpole isn't in the way.

Easy, Happily Ever After! It’s an amazing show and I watch it as often as I can. Although I need to watch it from in front of the castle again, it’s been a while!

Overall, I think Wishes and Happily Ever After are both amazing. Really comes down to the memories you have with it, and for me, I grew up with/have more memories with Happily Ever After.

I hate projections on the castle.
I don’t like an over reliance on projections, screens, and other related media (they usually take away from the role of pyro and reduce it overall), but I don’t think the projections are bad in HEA. In fact, I think they add a lot to the show!

I think projections have lead to some bad (like the Dreamlights “replacement”), but when talking about HEA, I don’t see them as a negative at all. You can watch it without the projections and the show is still great.

Yes
The good idea fairy produced so many changes that were not coordinated so the results have had unintended consequences. Like they decided to do projections and wanted more guest viewing area as they only did the front. So the hub reconstruction project in 2014 added that area, but we lost all the shade and the rose garden. Now we have even a larger concentration of guests that before during and after the shows, lemming in all directions...

Wishes feels more like a complete journey to me. I know I'm biased spending 6 months seeing it every night from Pecos, but the storytelling feels unmatched. I love having Jiminy as a ferryman through the show, guiding us through the story. The songs seem to flow in a logical sense, where with HEA it just feels like an ipod on shuffle. Having more characters speak through the show makes it more magical for me too, I have the Blue Fairy's monologue tattooed on my body.

I will give HEA the "you can fly, you can fly, you can fly 🧚‍♂️" moment, chills every time I see Tink fly in HEA.

I’m gonna’ hafta’ go with “Wishes”, as well, for the reasons you posted, as well as for nostalgic/sentimental reasons, as that’s the show our kids grew up with…!!!
Our young granddaughters are now growing up with HEA, and they really enjoy it…!!! :)
