We are first year anual passholders and really love our passes. We are planning to go (as a family) to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Now i have heard about the hot cocoa, parades, snowing on Main Street. But our anual passholder newsletter (AKA- The Mickey Monitor) mentioned that the event will feature the awesome Wishes fireworks show with a holiday twist. I was expecting the Wishes show to become a Christmas style fireworks show that features the same overall feel and message of the show by next year. But I'd like to know if anyone knows that the snowfall will be incorporated into the show, and will the show be overlayed with the theme oe just have a special holiday segment at the end?
Thanks

If you've never been to one of MK's after hours parties, you're in for a real treat. Without spoiling too much, the snow probably will not be going on the same time as the fireworks...you won't see it. As for the fireworks, I would assume they would fire off the Wishes set and include previous years "launching areas" to add that special touch!

...I'll just leave it at that!

The fireworks last year were great (the special ones after Fantasy...much like this year's special halloween fireworks).

Wishes is so much better than Fantasy (sorry for you Fantasy fans) and to add the special fireworks on top of it was just incredible.

(I believe Rudolph flies out of the castle instead of Tink)

Excellent! MKT talked me into buying a ticket to the Christmas party, and I completely forgot about the fireworks. Maybe it's time to break down and buy a video camera....

Hey ABERCROMBIE!

Expect lots of GREENS and REDS in the fireworks...and perhaps a Christmas Carol or two!

HAVE FUN!

LOL! I guess the only reason I haven't gotten one is that I don't have any kids or anything, so the only place I'd use it would be WDW.

I hear ya! I'm in the same situation!
If I didn't get one as a gift last year, I'm sure I still wouldn;t have one. I also got a digital camera this year!

Thank goodness the people in my life keep me moving forward!

I havent bought my tickets yet but im sure my mom will be buying them soon.

I doubt that the "snow" on maintstreeet will be going on at the same time as the fireworks. If I remeber right they have the "snow" on Mainstreet when you are coming in and leaving the park. It is a good idea to incoperate it into the fireworks show though.

You will love it and you wont regret the money that you spend on it. Its awesome and i bet the new fireworks show will make it even better

Wishes is based on "Believe" in Disneyland, which, in my opinion, still beats out Wishes as my fav. fireworks show in the MKs... but I'd take a look at one of the videos of "Believe in Holiday Magic" to see what "Holiday Wishes" will be like. That along with the perimeter fireworks should give you a good idea of what it will be like. :)

Well, personally, I miss the Mickey in the Sky and the Merry Unbirthday scene when the fireworks go up in sync like from pipes in a circus. But that's just me. :) Wishes has some great things too, like the new type of shaped fireworks. Now those are cool. :)

We got home from dinner in time to see the holiday Wishes. It is the same show, but with a beautiful finale- possibly the best perimeter fireworks I've seen. I'll try to get pics of the next party.:)
