Wishes Fireworks Cruise - A Few Questions

We are travelling to WDW as a group of 8 of us to celebrate a 50th Birthday later this year, and i'm considering the Premium Wishes Fireworks Cruise. But had a few questions first;
- What snacks/drinks are provided?
- Is it worth the $350?
- How long does it last?
- Do you stay on the boat for the electrical water pageant?
- Can you order Disney cakes to be provided onboard?
- Could we bring our own decorations (i.e. balloons etc.) to put onboard to celebrate the occasion?

Would appreciate any suggestions/information you may have!

Thanks in advance :D

We did the Pirate's one this past summer so I can't answer all your questions. But - I can warn you about the gnats! :eek: They're everywhere and/or will try to go everywhere in you!!! Honestly, if we got a score like on Buzz, I am a Galactic Hero with 999,999 points!
(The boat did stop in front of the electrical water pageant so we had front row seats. I'm sure they'll do the same for you.)

Thanks for the warning! :) Was your pirates cruise worth the money?

pirates cruise it worth it!! there is a scavenger hunt before hand. snacks were chips /salsa, Popsicle, ice cream, cotton candy, cake, soda, juice, water, milk, popcorn, and i cant remember what else. on pirates cruise we did see the water pageant. there was trivia and singing and it was a blast. We did it in October and had no issue with bugs. we got to do a private meet and greet with peter pan as well. from the person i just asked who drives both said its more fun on the pirates one.

It was a fun, typically warm, wonderful Disney experience. The Pirate's version of the cruise is definitely geared towards the little ones. My kids are 11 & 13 so they felt out of place. There was food & drinks, coloring, a scavenger hunt in the Grand Canyon Concourse, and great pictures with Captain Hook & Mr. Smee - all before the cruise.

You will have an assigned row/seat. It's not a free-for-all. Pirate "Patch" was tons of energy and fun. He kept everyone entertained from start to finish. We saw the electrical parade first and then went over to see Wishes. After the fireworks, there was a trivia contest for little, fun, plastic prizes. Almost everyone (every kid) got one - and if they didn't - they were handed something before they left the boat.

We love Wishes and wanted to experience something different. I don't know if it was worth the money. I'm glad we tried it. We wouldn't do it again. Honestly, the worst part were the gnats. Thousands of them. Thousands. Really. Smack. Smack. Smack. Everyone. The whole time. You killed bunches at a time. (We'll be back in the parks to watch it this summer.)

The best surprise was one of the most memorable meet-n-greets ever with Peter Pan when we were back at The Contemporary. He was just amazing. My daughter is 13 and WDW has the same kind of "magic" for her as it does for an adult. However - Peter had her mesmerized. We were the last ones off the boat. He stayed, chatted & played with every family for the longest times I've ever experienced. Absolutely brilliant, special and magical.
