Wishes farewell merch

Just another way for them to take people's $$$$. They have the items displayed as soon as you walk into most of the stores in MK so that you can't miss them.
They aren't "taking" your money. If you don't like it, stick it to them and don't buy any of it.

Ultimately, we'll get another show. If people don't like it, could always bring Wishes back. This isn't a unicorn that's impossible to recreate. They are changing it because things need changing sometimes. Wishes was a great show with a great run, but we can look forward to a new one now.

Just as long as the show isn't a Remember -> Magical conversion I think we'll be okay. I almost cried when I saw the follow up to Remember, and it wasn't for good reasons.

When they put the merchandise out for Wishes I couldn't believe the wife said we had to go get something. I said, "with all the money I've given them and continue to give them I'm not buying anything." She got her shirt, and I stuck to my guns.

Last week, I bought a shirt. They wear us down and hit us with the nostalgia, and it works. They make money, and we get a shirt...and a travel mug. We probably would have bought the CD, but she already bought that some time ago.

I've tried to offer mementos of me to my former employers and girlfriends, but no one was buying. If people are buying Disney would be foolish not to sell to us.

Why is it a bad thing that Disney is trying to sell merchandise on Wishes that is leaving. People love Wishes and they want a piece of something to remember it by. So any smart business would start selling stuff if they know customers are going to snatch the stuff up. It is not being greedy it is called Good Business.

It only gets ridiculous if they start trying to collect the firework debris from the last show and sell that... which I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

While Magical was nowhere near as good as Remember, I do miss seeing Dumbo fly over the castle. They actually got him working pretty well during the show's second summer season.
