Nice catch. I think what this shows is what many of us suspect; that the average Hollywood career person is desperate for adulation and attention, as those Hollywood types have always been. When they were in Junior High, it was their awful school play they obsessed over even though most of the student body didn't care about the dumb play and was more concerned about the upcoming school dance.
Now for those same people 20 years later, it's their latest corporate gig they shill for and peddle on Social Media.
"It's A Wrap" translates to: I'm doing really important work for humanity and arts and culture, don't forget to Like and Follow and Subscribe.
Boomer, I know you abhor much of the social media generation especially those using it for monetary purposes, and modern Hollywood in general. But sometimes a social media post is just for fun, nothing more.
It's hard to tell. The marketing of Disney movies often hypes up a minor supporting character who ends up not being in the film much at all (Pua in Moana, Clod in Elemental, Pauly Shore's character in A Goofy Movie, etc.).I'm not a fan of "The Teens". I can already tell an amount of time is going to be wasted on these useless characters.
Hey! I didn’t know, okay? I blame Instagram or X formerly known as Twitter for making me confused. Internet these days!Nice catch. Not really related to this upcoming film, but given that Wish is major celebratory animated film that is the one of most-anticipated film this year, assuming Wish giving IMAX limited-time release, they could follow Oppenheimer's path by extending the run at IMAX theaters due to popular demand if Disney listen their audiences. Here, Oppenheimer given extended IMAX theatrical run until August 31.
Did you take drama in high school and be in plays? My wife's family are total band geeks. They were all in marching band and some later in a professional rock group.Again, I didn’t know. I’m not trying to be drama nerd, even though I have my moments.
Well, yes. I just like to be in musicals. I thought you or somebody accused me for being overly dramatic, even though it might true.Did you take drama in high school and be in plays? My wife's family are total band geeks. They were all in marching band and some later in a professional rock group.
No. Wasn't trying to. But I worry that you might take this strike a little too hard. Maybe it will lead to a better system without a union and the chance for others to submit scripts.Well, yes. Not likely, WGA and SAG/AFTRA would have to both agree to disband, and I don't see that happening.Maybe it will lead to a better system without a union and the chance for others to submit scripts.

It's very calm and a little boring. Christmas is better when the grandkids bring out their instruments and play various Christmas songs. With the exception of my Aunt Ingrid, I had a rather typical, waspy family who couldn't do much of anything but work for 40 years in successful white collar careers and then play a lot of tennis.
What's the cover charge to be a guest at your house on Thanksgiving? I'd love to see how that evening goes.
If you believe some of the rumors, that release date may be Wish-ful thinkingOnly 100 days left for the premiere of Wish and they still haven’t release a second trailer of it yet! I know, I know, the trailer will drop, when it drops. I just don’t want WDAS make that same mistake again with Strange World even though it’s not really a good film.
Ho ho! Very funny! Ha ha! It is to laugh! If you believe some of the rumors, that release date may be Wish-ful thinking
