Wish I hadn't changed our vacation

If I had known that this week would be hotter in the Midwest than Florida I wouldn't have switched it to September. At least at POP we could jump in the pool. Fingers crossed for good weather next month.

I'm right here with you. It is supposed to be over 100 today in Tennessee with the heat index MUCH higher.

Our upcoming trip is in September and we are hoping for a little cooler weather but we know it will be HOT!!

Let's hope for a cold front!! LOL

If we could predict what mother nature had in store for us we would always vacation when the temps and weather were ideal. No one can predict whats coming so you can only try to go by historical weather patterns that are available, take a chance on the weather forecast that are usually off, and go by your almanac. Ive had so many trips turn out much better than expected by weather forecasts being wrong.

Please don't sweat it (figuratively or literally). If the worst happens and you end up visiting during a week of record heat or torrential rains -- and my family as done both -- that doesn't have to stop you from having a great time. Pack your cooling towels and your "good" ponchos and umbrellas (and quick-dry footwear), and your sense of adventure, and plan your touring so that you're hitting rides with outdoor queues during the coolest/dryest parts of the day. The vast majority of WDW's attractions and transportation are covered and climate-controlled, anyway.

I’ll take heat any day over a hurricane. Crossing fingers nothing pops up next week—we’re there for 10 days!
