Winnie The Pooh track question

In The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh, do they still use any of the old track from Mr. Toads wild ride? I remember Mr. Toad having two different entrances, so I didn't think any of the old track was used, but I also didn't think JII with figment used any of the original track from JII, but it does.
Anyone know:confused:

It uses the EXACT same track from HALF the ride. Mr. Toad had two seperate tracks, kind of two rides in one. When Pooh was built, they used the one of those tracks for the ride, unchanged. The area where the other track was is now Pooh's Thotful Shop, stock room, and honey pot maintanance.

Actually it's a completely different track. Yes, there were two tracks for Mr. Toad, and now there is only one. Unfortunately the small gift shop is not even close to the same size as the ride. A good portion of the ride runs behind the Thotful Shop. But just in case you did want to know, the frame for the honey pots are the original frames from the cars from Toad.

Hope this helps!

Pooh does not use the exact same track as Toad. This is obvious simply by looking at the was the station now loads and the track layout. Pooh does not take up the entire space once occupied by toad, however it does take up the entire left side and a good portion of the right.

Also all of the track was replaced when pooh was constructed.

That's what I thought. I did not remember the cars in Mr. Toad bouncing (the tigger scene) either.

Well the track has nothing to do with the bouncing. The bouncing is done by hydrolics on the vehicle.

Well the there is a small trigger on the floor on the track that causes the bouncing and the floody place effect. But that's about it. As you said that actual track has nothing to do with it.

Well, yeah. The same type of thing tiggers the bouncing/flood effects as triggers the lap bars to be released.

Not even similar in any regards is the new Pooh track layout.

I also think Pooh is a lot shorter than Toad was, despite Toad having more than one track and, in my opinion, having a higher speed (Toad seemed zippier while Pooh seems meandering.) I feel that maybe not the entire show building was utilized for Pooh as it was for Toad. Just my feelings, but again I've always been biased to a certain J Thaddeus Toad.

Man WDW's fantasyland sucks now.

Ouch, that hurts. I did my College Program in Fantasyland attractions last year. It's the best land, and we are by far the most fun CPs out there! Not that I'm biased or anything

What is this about Mr. Toad having 2 seperate tracks? Does that mean they were able to operate the attraction 2 at a time or were they completely different experiences?

From what I remember, the two tracks were mirrored, but presented slightly different experiences, as far as scenery. The intent (I believe) was to dispatch the two cars at the same time, so that you get the sensation of colliding into each other at a few points in the ride. However, I was much younger (25 now) when I last rode it, so I could be a bit off.

It was the same experience. Think of how Space Mountain has two tracks, M:S has four bays, Primevil Whirl has two tracks, and Tower has four load shafts/two drop shafts. There were some minor differences between the two, however it was almost entirely the same experience. You had no control over which side you rode, as there were not two line.
