Yeah, but there's still the one in WDW. Just think how nuts the Toad fans would have went if they were planning to replace it with Winnie the Pooh, seeing as it is the only one left.

I dunno, the CBJ at WDW is really seeming outdated to me. I can't say much about the DL version because I havent had a chance to see it (It was closed when I was there last), but if it was the same as WDW's then mabey it was just time for an update. I would have to say I enjoy the Winnie the Pooh attraction more than the old CBJ show, but wouldn't it have been even cooler if they mabe an entirely updated CBJ attraction?

As for the budget cuts, is that really a surprise to anyone, though? I mean, come on, we're not going to see Disney loosen up anymore on their spending habits for a while. Its disappointing, but I am getting used to it lately.

Dont get me wrong, I realize Disney is still making stuff, but keep in mind some of those attractions in development have also been bitten by the budget cut bug. Philharmagic apparently lost in house effects like a moving floor, and then there'd that speculation on cutting down on the Everest queue (not that that's going to matter to the ride, anyhow). And just as you have shown, Disney is spending all their money on other things besides Pooh, so I can see how they'd be cutting down on these other projects, especially one that wont be considered that big of an attraction opening anyway.

And we arent sure just when or how much they're spending on Time Racers, Soarin, and Everest quite yet (as much as I'd like to know!) :)

Everest has a budget of roughly $120 million, which is about the budget of Time Racer ($100-120 million). Soarin' costs about the same to build, as we saw at California Adventure:) Assuming they want to build two theatres, and I assume they do, it will cost only slightly less to build the second of its kind (since all the bugs are worked out, now). Last I heard, the removal of the motion-based floor for PhilharMagic was more because it simply was not needed for the attraction than due to cuts--I guess they figured it wouldn't make much sense for the floor to shake in a Mickey and Donald movie:) It will still have extensive in-theatre effects (and will be a fantastic addition to the Magic Kingdom this fall):) Cheers!

While it seems on par with WDW's version, I was very upset to hear that the ride vehicles don't "bounce" along with tigger in that one scene. That is one of my favorite moments in WDW's Pooh. :(

 I absolutely agree with you!

Is there a chance they might add it before the official opening? I can't believe they would cut that out!

HOLD EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've got some interesting news! I just read on Mouse info. com, that the Winnie the Pooh viecles in DL are sort of like EMVs! If not, they are! The moderator of their web site said he went on it, and said that the Tigger bounce scene is in there. But the viecles bounce in a whole new different way. I don't know how, but he also said that the viecles have a floating on water scensation during the very rainy day scene. This is interesting.:)

Nope there is no boucing scene and the vehicles aren't like EMV's at all. There have the SLIGHTEST movement from side to side. Nothing all that great. The biggest problem with the Disneyland version is the fact that the scenery is really sparse. Just be happy that we got the better one. :)
