No, it's probably because they need to start working on the pathway that will lead to the entrance to Storybook Circus. Recent aerial views have shown them starting to lay concrete just behind the construction wall near the teacups.

They should just close Tigger's bouncy spot in the queue and use that for the M&G (seems like a more appropriate location to me)! Of course I have no idea if there's enough room in that area for the M&G and queue!?!

It will most probably go in to some of the additional rooms in the Town Square Theatre.

I could see them going by the flag pole, over in the tour guide gardens, or even in the little alcove to the train station side of the Main Street Theatre. All 3 locations currently have characters on a regular basis.

Or they could just bring them out at any location on the sidewalk. Disneyland seems to get by just fine.

The Disney powers that be tell me this will be happening. Next year sometime.

What you see now is the closest those walls are getting to it. Soon they'll be pushed back so you can walk around the north side of the teacups again, and then the walkway to Storybook Circus will be opened once that area's ready to go.
