I am always willing to discuss where to get the best steaks at Walt Disney World. My dear wife pointed out recently that she rarely eats red meat and prefers chicken so why isn’t there a thread about where to get the best chicken dinner.
For our first trip we did the Hoop De Doo revue, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law raved that they had the best fried chicken ever, let’s just say we didn’t agree. My dear wife’s list of favorite chicken dishes however is as follows;
Fried Chicken at 50’s Prime Time Cafe
Lemon Chicken at Restaurant Marrakesh
Poulet Rouge at Narcoosee’s

Where are some of yours?

Mary, while I totally respect Memphis fried chicken, I make a MEAN chicken parmesan here in NYC. Learned it from my Italian mother in law. :) If you are ever in the area, you come on by and I will make you chicken parm!!! ;)

As to WDW chicken, I've enjoyed chicken dishes at Les Chefs de France and the Wave.

I visited Chicago a couple years ago on a business trip. I loved the food there and would love to go back. Regardless, if you ever make it to NYC, you look me up!! :)

You guys are making me cry over the departure of my beloved Chicken Strips, sorry no matter what Disney tells me, the nuggets don't do it.

For QS, Cosmic Rays is pretty good.

And our sidebar conversation, best Chicagoland Chicken would be IMO White Fence Farm. Dear Lord is it good.

I would love to find a good chicken catchatori dish somewhere in WDW. This is a very regional dish as my grandfather made it by browning the chicken in olive oil garlic and cilantro then adding diced tomatoes and letting them reduce. My grandmother made it in a light tomato sauce with peppers, onions and mushrooms served over pasta. Both were delicious

Chicken cacciatore is awesome,it's origins come from Italy.Over here it's called "hunters stew" as the word cacciatore means hunter.Now if am wrong,sure that Sue will put me right.;)
