Can anyone tell me when runDisney releases the date for the 2013 Wine & Dine Half? I am planning our families upcoming vacation so that I can participate in the run. Thanks in advance!!!!

They're most likely going to post the waivers for marathon weekend today (and those have dates of the upcoming races printed on them), and from what I can see looking at some leaked stuff it's going to be the weekend of November 8&9. Keep in mind that they can change the dates at any time...they'll probably open registration for the race in the spring, and if you're sure you want to go I'd sign up early. You'll get the lowest price that way, and the race WILL fill to capacity, so if you wait too long you may get shut out.

That was the weekend I was assumming, but I thought I was at Disney once & the half was in early October,but I can be mistaken. I will keep my eyes open. Thank you!!!

It was initially the last weekend of September. However, when they brought the ToT race back to life this year, they schedule that race for late September, and moved the W&D half to November. Basically from the first week of F&W to the last week I think. I would hang out in the Disney running portion of the board here. We are pretty good about figuring out details and discounts before they get posted over there.

Not to drift, but don't plan on those ToT dates. This appears to be the only information indicated the Sept dates, everything else is just saying October right now.

I don't know if it has any bearing but ....
The dates of the NJ Teachers Convention is always a big draw for WDW. All schools in NJ are closed for a 4 day weekend in early November.
The first two F&W half marathons were held the weekend of the NJ Teachers convention.
Last year the half was originaly not scheduled for that weekend, but it was then moved to coencide with the NJ teachers convention.
Next year, you guessed it - the NJEA convention is November 7 and 8 - the same weekend as the half marathon. I will be there that weekend, but I don't think I will run it again. It IS a load of fun, but it just kills the F&W weekend for me. While running at night is cool, I think I would rather have it an early start so it does not kill the whole weekend for me.
