Windows XP Question

I have Windows XP at work, my desktop does not have a CD burner and I need to copy some large file to bring home to work on. (Disney photo slideshow and movies) I thought I could use my Kodak Digitak camera with the 1 gig sd card as a storage device however XP will not allow me to copy to the camera. XP detects the camera and type of camera when it is connected and will list it as the camera and not a writable drive. I have never loaded any kodak drivers or software, it just recognized it. Is there any way I can make the camera into a writeable drive???

Sorry for hijacking the forum but I had no luck searching XP forums, I thought I would give it a shot here? Thanks

I'm not sure you can do that with a camera. I would recommend you pick up one of those little USB drives and use that to transfer your files.

Now, if you had an Apple and an iPod... :drevil:

I can't wrtite to my camera, so I have a card reader that I use instead. Plugs into the USB port. I picked up a multi-card reader for small money that takes all the current memory cards and sticks.

I do the same thing with my CF card, but I leave it in the card reader and XP treats like another hard drive. Have you tried using a USB thumb drive? They also work for me.

Did you ever notice there are more invitations than there are takers?
