Will WDW Soon Be Talking About Bruno?

Opinion does not equal fact, at least on the first. The second doesn't really reflect anything except a flash in the pan, which has happened repeatedly since the advent of the Billboard Top 100.

Just because a Disney movie "is a big hit" doesn't mean it requires immediate and substantial additions to the theme parks. Disney doesn't work that way anymore, as has been mentioned.

It's like Zootopia all over again. "AHHHH!!! It's a HUGE HIT!!! It DESERVES to be in the parks!!!!!!1!!" 🤦‍♂️
Same thing for Big Hero 6...Wins an Oscar got a tempo-permanent meet and greet at Epcot...

Maybe you are right. I was just going by how little I'm hearing it played and an even stronger indication I go by is by the kids around me. When Frozen started up everywhere I went I heard kids singing that song. Friends of mine who had kids said they were driving them crazy by wanting the song played over and over in the car and in the home and the kids were singing it non stop. I havent heard anything similar to how they are treating Bruno. But anyway to the OP... yes, Disney will take advantage of its popularity and have it appearing in the parks in some form. Keep your ears open.
Maybe not kids in your area...but it is wildly popular in my neck of the woods. A tell is that high school students are all singing it, and it isn't nearly as easy to learn as the Frozen songs.

On the other hand, the pandemic has been a huge disruption. On many fronts, this isn't a normal time. I dare say, this is part of why the song is resonating. While many people are speaking up right now, many families/youth are coping by avoiding discussions on fraught topics just to keep the peace with their extended families and neighbors. Or else they have simply stopped talking to portions of the family. *

On the other hand, when Frozen was new...Disney also missed the boat. For quite a while, there was a complete dearth of Frozen merchandise, especially at WDW. Little girls were clamoring for Ann/Elsa costumes, but they weren't available. Technically, Epcot offered a few, but they were wildly overpriced, and demand was SO high that they sold out almost immediately...but the majority of young girls who wanted dresses had to make their own dresses (or choose a different princess).

It was just a little odd, IMO, because that huge unmet demand that lasted quite a few months. For months, Epcot's meet and greet wait time regularly ran in the 6-8 hour range! It became popular for families to book an early morning breakfast at Akershus just so they could get a head start for the m&g queue. There was a serious running of the bulls at rope drop.

*One facet of Encanto is that it attempts to address what is often called a toxic family. The grandmother is - more or less- a toxic matriarch. The movie even - briefly - uses the term 'golden child' to describe Isabela, the daughter who turns everything into flowers.
There's the workhorse/enabler daughter Luisa, and the scapegoat/ostracized child- Bruno. No matter how hard Luisa works, it is never enough. A similar pattern is playing out in the next generation: Antonio is the golden grandchild, while no-power Mirabelle is ignored.

This too is a topic that resonates right now.

In a way, Bruno could be considered a villain song, considering it brings out the worst trait a family could have, to gossip and spread exaggerated claims which are demeaning to another family member. As catchy of a song as it is, it still illustrates the worst side of an otherwise decent family.

Encanto is a weird situation because it didn't do very well in theaters but the songs are reaching a level of marketshare and relevance that's rivaling the old Disney Renaissance movies. Three different songs in the top 100 with "Bruno" being at the top - a position that even "Let it Go" was unable to achieve. It's very clear Disney had a Frozen-level hit on their hands and flubbed with the marketing.

I'm not sure we'll see a ride or anything (unless merch ends up selling really well to make up for the poor BO performance) but I 100% expect "We Don't Talk about Bruno" and "Surface Pressure" to start making appearances in loops and, as shown earlier, streetmosphere. Would be very shocked if the next updated nighttime spectacular or whatever doesn't have a WDTAB segment.

Lin-Manuel Miranda to Bob Chapek about an Encanto attraction:

“I talked to him and said, ‘I know there’s a world in which this casita lives in a theme park and we get to actually walk through it in real life.’”
