Will WDW get a "Quimetting" like DL is ?

Not that the WDW parks are in bad shape, but MK coul really use a fresh coat of paint on all of Mainstreet and plenty of other areas.

I know DL is gearing up for the 50th and making sure everything looks "super spiffy" but I can't help but feel a wee bit jealous about the DL makeover (which needed it more than WDW though).

Isn't everyone supposed to be celebrating DL's 50th? All the other parks around the world including smaller events, shows and such for the birthday? So, it seems to me that a good spit-n-shine on WDW would be appropriate. They were retouching the Castle a few months back so perhaps Main Street might be next?

Maybe I'm being too much of an idealist, but shouldn't the parks always be looking "neat and pretty." They shouldn't need a celebration to modivate them to keep the parks looking good, that is the Disney way. That's why we need more guys like Matt Ouimet and fewer guys like Eisner and *shudders* Pressler. That's what makes Disney so special.

Very true. I don't think WDW looks bad by any means, but DL is going to look "extra spiffy". I want the above and beyond neat & pretty look for WDW. Years of neglect also warranted alot of the current DL rehabs along with the 50th, all a matter of timing.
