Will the Fountain of Nations survive the changes?

It’s unclear whether the Foubtain of Nations is in the blue sky concept but it always appears as a blue blob or an image that looks nothing like it so that ball of light could be it. Is it possible that the fountain will survive the changes along with the shows? I think it’s going to be the same fountain it was back in 82.

The current fountain is from 1888\9. The elephants platform cracked the original during Daredevil Circus Spectacular and it was replaced.

Fountains came in 1994ish.
Never knew that, thought that it was just repaired and that there was some left of the original. That’s crazy.

1888?? Wow thats old 😉
Yeah, it’s what originally attracted Walt to the area in the 1960s. He demanded a tour of the swamps and was astounded to find the Fountain behind a gator nest with the water dancing in sync to the Iron Will soundtrack. He immediately drew a picture of the fountain on a napkin complete with a purple tent structure and EPCOT was born. He talks about it in that Florida Project episode.

There are times when there is music in sync with the fountains, and even colored lights at nice, and I think, "That's nice. Where can I sit or stand to enjoy this?" And there is no convenient spot.

Most other times the fountain's doing nothing and many of the nozzles are either not working or misaligned.

And true to Disney's utter lack of care for guest-flow, they add stuff to or near the fountain creating choke points.

Disney should have a fountain show that rivals the Bellagio at least somewhere on property and they keep missing the mark by a lot.
