Will someone check my plan?

So, usually, we just decide where we want to go on which days on the plane over to the US. This year because I've made (or am making) some ADRs, I'm having to plan a little more. Plus I've been looking on Undercover Tourist which has scared the bejebus out of me (the entire 2 weeks are RED...!) because again, I've never bothered with that before. So, can someone just say yay or nay to this please?

Dates: Friday June 21st 2013 - July 5th 2013.
Party of sometimes 2 and sometimes 4 (going with the rents but I've been told we will not be living out of each others pockets!).

Plan:
Friday 21st: Travel
Sat 22nd: Rest day
Sun 23rd: Epcot (Reservation at San Angel Inn @6.30pm)
Mon 24th: Typhoon Lagoon
Tues 25th: Hollywood Studios (Reservation at Sci Fi Dine in @6.30pm)
Weds 26th: Magic Kingdom (Hope to get Reservation at Liberty Tree Tavern)
Thu 27th: Epcot
Fri 28th: Rest day
Sat 29th: Animal Kingdom
Sun 30th: USF/IOA (Hubby wants to go to the Rock Café...)
Mon 1st: USF/IOA
Tues 2nd: Magic Kingdom
Wed 3rd: Hollywood Studios
Thurs 4th: Blizzard Beach
Fri 5th: Travel.

So what do you think? I mean we'll have park hoppers anyway so if we don't fancy going to one place, we can change it. We never spend a full day at at the water parks anyway. Infact, I might condense them into one day, because I don't particularly like Blizzard Beach as much as Typhoon Lagoon.
I just wish you could alter your reservations online, rather than having to phone. Being in the UK, that could get expensive!
Also pleasantly surprised to see that there are still reservations for Be Our Guest for the week we are there.

During weeks like that of July 4 (we always travel during peak times), I highly recommend looking at the EMH and using them to your advantage. That whole second week you are looking at very large crowds from about 11am until about 4pm - we're talking hour waits for just about everything and difficult to move around the tighter spots of the parks. When we are there on those days, we get up early, do about 2 hours in the park with morning EMH, head back to the room for a few hours and get lunch at a resort, then head back to the parks in the evenings. Of course, that ability kind of depends on where you are staying.

Also, national pride aside, on the night of the 4th, MK, Epcot, and DHS all have special fireworks. If you can stand the swelling of US Patriotism, they are pretty awesome fireworks!

I would DEFINITELY make those ADRs that you really want. There will be little to no tables available during that second week especially without them.

Looks ok to me apart for one thing.Whit are these " rest " days all about.

Haha well, they can either be pool days or perhaps we will go to a park. Perhaps I should call them free for all days instead because I don't really mind what we do.
Hubby says they are drinking days to get over the Disney Trauma... He is about to be slapped very hard!

That's what I was afraid of. My mom booked those weeks not thinking about the 4th July! Ergh. Well, we've been before during peak times so we'll just have to lump it. We're staying on I Drive so no EMH for us :(

Then look at the EMH schedule and avoid those parks and days like the plague! I'd still try to get into a park on the 4th for the fireworks show. We are doing our first LONG trip this coming summer as well and a couple of hang out at the resort and have a few drinks by the pool are definitely in our plans as well.

I second the recommendation that you utilize the EMH's, hit the parks early, rest at midday and then go back out in the evening. The heat and humidity in FL in June and July is CRUSHING and you will need rest!

I agree that the water parks are 1/2 day, but with park hoppers you can hit a park in the morning before you go or in the evening when you get back. With so much time at WDW you can really savor the experience! Have fun!!

Check touring plans for the best days at each park I know Mondays are almost always the best day for EPCOT. You may get a little lucky with crowds the first few days NJ and NY schools missed quite a few days due to the hurricane and my let out a little late this year. Good luck with the crowds.

To be honest, I've winged it for so long now, I'm thinking of just doing that again. Obviously I need some structure to the day because of these reservations.
How accurate would you say Undercover Tourist is? I mean, is it the end of the world if I don't go to Epcot on a Monday, or HS on a Friday?
I'm looking at my list now thinking I hope I can make HS last an entire day... lol If not, AK I guess.

I don't know about undercover tourist but found touring plans extremely good for such things. On very busy days you will notice the reccomended crowd levels make a difference in wait times.

I wouldn't let the "red days" worry you. Yes, they do tend to be busier, but your vacation will still be great. I've been over peak times... many times... and if you utilize your FPs you'll get on everything you want to.
