Will Fantasyland Expansion get more TREES?

I don't quite get the giant space of open... as you so awesomely put it, parking lot- right in front of the castle walls. And for that matter, I don't really get the walls either. Sure they look nice. It definitely needs some greenery. And maybe a fountain. A fountain would be lovely.

I wonder if the high points of the castle walls are cell phone/reception towers. Just a thought.

The "castle walls" are supposed to make you feel like you're leaving the castle/surrounding village and entering the enchanted forests. To make it feel this way, you'll need more trees on the other side, though...
They got trees on the other side.. *voodoo music* ;)

I don't see too many trees near the castle walls on the concept so that looks about right. ETWB and the surrounding area is full of trees, it's a beautiful place. And when the mine ride finally opens I'm sure there'll be lots of tree planted there as well.

I think once the Mine Train opens, there will be a lot more trees and greenery. Right now, only one side of the path is really complete while the other side is a construction zone. The plants are still growing in and in a couple of years should look fuller and denser then they are right now. We're still seeing a half finished project so once it is complete we should see more vegetation.

I really hope once the Mine Train is open and congestion has died down, they can add new planters and flower beds to give the area north of the carousel some intimacy. Right now it is too vast and unwelcoming. It would be nice for more manicured landscaping to be within the castle wall with more natural looking landscaping outside them. A small fountain would be nice too. But I wonder if that area just gets too crowded to do that.

I still don't get the point of those weird arches they plopped down for no apparent reason. At first, I thought I'd get it when the FLE opened, but no. Now I'm hoping they will make more sense when the SDMT opens. Also hoping that the area will feel less cramped when that opens and the walls are down. I don't know when it's supposed to open, though. In the spring?

I'd like more landscaping everywhere. They need to freshen and beautify the parks (except the AK, which is pretty.). IMO.

My thoughts exactly!
