Will Disney hold suitcases overnight?

Hi

Next time we go to Florida, we are thinking about staying at multiple hotels

7 nights Port Orleans Riverside
1 night at Universal
6 nights at Wilderness Lodge

I think I'm correct in thinking that Disney will transport your luggage from one hotel to another, but would they be able to hold onto it for the night that we would be staying at Universal (we could just take an overnight bag there), and then we could collect the suitcases when we would check in at Wilderness Lodge?

Thanks for your help!

I am guessing WDW would not hold your luggage. Once you check out they are not obliged to hold your luggage, you are no longer a customer, even if you are returning a day later. I may be wrong but I don't see it.

You can ask, tell them you're meeting family or some other tale, and see what they say. With your coming back to the WL, perhaps they would consider sending it over there. Never hurts to ask....:)

I thought the same thing. If a guest isnt on property, I'm sure Disney wouldn't want the responsibility. I would ask when you checked in, but I would think they may say they don't have the space for it (in all fairness, that would take space reserved for Disney guests) However, it certainly doesn't hurt to ask.

They will hold them. Last December we arrived at the YC on Saturday, checked out Monday and back in on Tuesday. We left our luggage with Bell Services and spent Monday night at The Hard Rock with just what we needed. It was absolutely the best way to go. The "fast pass" for Universal is worth the hassle of changing hotels and The Hard Rock was beautiful.
