An animated series is in development in Japan, but a ride or movie hasn't been announced or rumored. There is a large group of people who would love to see something done with the property, although I don't know if it would be popular to the general market.

And in the Forums Support section there is thread discussing how to change your avatar.

And please change the font.

Don't mean to be dim, but what is Kingdom Hearts? :veryconfu
It's a video game for the PS2, developed by SqareEnix. It utilizes Disney characters and worlds, combining them with characters from Final Fantasy (another video game property) and original characters. It's actually amazingly good, with a powerful story and awesome visuals that could work very well in a Spiderman-type ride system.

Someone on another board posted pictures of Sora with Donald and Goofy dressed in Kingdom Heart's attire appearing for meet and greets at MNSSHP in 2004. I would love to meet the characters in the parks. Maybe there is hope of something more. Maggie

Well,

The problem you run into with Kingdom Hearts is Sora, Rika, and other oringal characters are co-owned by Disney and Square-Enix.

Sort of like how the Mario RPG characters Mallow and Geno are co-owned by Square-Enix and Nintendo

I am willing to bet every cent that I have and ever make on the fact that a kingdom hearts ride or show will never be made. Period.

Reasons:
1) General Public has no clue. Not the biggest stumbling block, but it counts.
2) The game sold "well" but not "great".
3) The game itself was nothing special. Typical Final Fantasy RPG. Only difference is it has Disney characters in it.
4) The sequel keeps getting pushed back. If Square-Enix can't reuse the engine and get a decent game out, how can they make a Disney-caliber attraction from it?
5) The storyline of the game does not lead well to a ride or show.
6) The game had what, 60 hours of gameplay? How can you stuff that into, at most, a 30 minute show? Wouldn't work.

Everyone should just forget this, its never going to happen.
