Crowds have been very reasonable. It's great to have attractions without waits over 5 mins (CoP is constantly loading). . . or else, what value would you get out of your day at the parks with all attractions having huge waits??

CoP Update???

Hey all,

I love the CoP, but I am definitly in favor of some upgrades!!! I have 3 ideas for it. First instead of a "Typical" American Family, what about doing it after Walt Disney?? Put Walt into the ride as the host who shows you the history of his family and the company, and the last scene can be the future of Disney (minus Eisner of course) with Walt introducing new rides and attractions just like he did on the wonderful world of disney!!! If you still want to keep the ride the way it is, update the animatronics and move the CoP to maybe Epcot, where the old odyssea? restaurant is (between WS and FW by test track). It would fit perfect in that area and go great with future worlds themeing. Or one last idea, you can make it a "free" attraction and move it to Downtown Disney as a historical attraction for the whole world to see!!! Anyways these are just thoughts, what do you all think??

While I believe COP is a classic ride, it is definitely "dated". I think that the reason for its popularity is because of its limited opening schedule.
That said, with inspiration and 21st Century updates, COP could once again become a top attraction which opens all year round instead of at peak season.

COP will def stay open. mind you it only be open during different periods of the year, but it will be open. it is walts legacy and would be like taking small world, or peter pan out. not gonna happen just for nastalgic reasons
