Yes, buses are free if you're staying on property. There is also a free shuttle to/from the airport if using Disney's magical express. I'm assuming you're staying at the Wilderness Lodge?

I Believe The Wilderness Park Is In The Fort Wilderness Camp Site Area. Next To The Hoop Dee Doo Review. You Can Catch Bus Rides To The Ttc In The Same Area Free. Good Luck

trail's end buffet @ fort wilderness isn't the tastiest food on- property, but still pretty good & one of the best values on-property. i'd suggest going there on a night you either plan on going back & staying in MK till it closes, OR if you plan on spending some time at FW, maybe @ the campfire & movies.

If it's the former, go to MK, & take the ferry to FW, and then ferry back after you've gorged yourself. If it's the latter, you can still ferry from MK, or bus to FW from any of the other parks, then when you're done, bus from FW to DTD and spend some time @ Pleasur Islands

If you are talking about Fort Wilderness....? You can catch a launch from the MK over to FW. There is only one place to eat there, a buffet and small bar area to get drinks and appetizers, snack food stuff, pizza. The Hoop Dee Doo Review is there but you would need reservations to go there to eat and see the show. Most people at the campground cook their own food. The Wilderness Lodge is next to (but not connected to) FW, the Lodge has several places to eat without needing reservations but I don't know about the cost being less than any other place on property.

Sorry, no, it's not Wilderness Lodge. The cabins and camping are at Fort Wilderness, which is a separate resort altogether.

For transportation from FW, you can catch a boat to MK, the Wilderness Lodge, and the Contemporary Resort.

There are also buses that run from FW to all four theme parks, and to both water parks.

There's no charge for any of the WDW transportation - boats, buses or monorails.

This is one of the most mixed-up threads I've read in a long time!

It doesn't help that Disney seems to like to give similar names to completely different places.

"Pirates of the Caribbean Beach Club Resort" comes to mind.

Wilderness Lodge doesn't have a campground He's talking about Fort Wilderness. It is very inexpensive to get a campsite, but the cabins are about as pricey as a regular hotel room. So the only way you'll save money by staying there is if you have an RV or plan to stay in a tent.

And if you do go that route, there are direct busses to the parks (you don't have to take transfers, not sure what the person I quoted was talking about). There's also a boat that goes right over to Magic Kingdom.

Like others have said, Fort Wilderness has the "Trail's End Buffet" which is your typical buffet, but the least expensive buffet on property. It's simple to get to...head to the Magic Kingdom and take the free ferry to Fort Wilderness. Then just walk over to the restaurant. I've eaten there a few times and liked it.
