Inner courtyard view rooms are our favorites. If you can get the second floor inner view, it si awesome and has a porch instead of a balcony.

I agree with you. After my last stay at WDW, I realized that a view is not necessary. I am either sleeping, in the shower, or at the park.No view necessary for me. Just being @ WL makes me happy!

No wrong view ever at Wl!
My family (once of 3 now of 4!) has had the pleasure of staying at the Wl 5 times since 2004. 4 times we requested and paid for standard view; 1 time paid and requested courtyard view.
Of the four times we requested standard view, two times we received inner courtyard view, one time woods view, and one time what I think was standard view (until nitetime when we watched wishes from out balcony-but during day definitely standard view). Three times we could see wishes. One of these three times, kids could see wishes from bed.
Ironically, the one time we paid for courtyard view, as it was important to my in-laws traveling with us in a second room, the view was the worst...it was a stone enclosed balcony reminiscent of a prison from pirates of carribean. We asked to be moved as my FIL was going to explode and were kindly moved a few rooms towards the pool, right by the bathroom entry from the pool.
Bottom line, you will love it no matter what; but choo$e wi$ley!
