Wilderness Lodge transportation

Just wish that wilderness lodge had a quick early morning route to the TTC.
Years ago, the WL had a direct bus to the TTC. We would ride the monorail to both Epcot and MK from the TTC. Miss that bus!

Do any routes from the WL currently share with the Poly?
No. When we stayed at WL earlier this year, WL shared with CR to DHS and AK and Ft. Wilderness to Epcot and DTD (now DS).

But I will be able to update this in a little over a week when we arrive for our WL stay .

What if you take an Uber or taxi to TTC from WL? Has to be a super cheap trip, and I would think faster than going to Contemporary > monorail > TTC > switch platforms > Epcot. Anyone try Uber/taxi to TTC before?

That was my plan. I'll Log into uber and if a car is close by, I'll request it. It should be very inexpensive for the four of us.

Will do!

@epcotisbest, I will also check to see if the Buffalo topiary has returned.
Thank you. My brother, who had never been to WL before, thinks I was sending him on a wild goose chase even though I have pictures of the Bufflo topiary. Would you also consider some pics of what they are doing with Hidden Springs Pool?

Thanks to everyone for their comments! Tuvalu is correct, my first priority is to be at the MK gates as early as possible in the morning. It looks like the bus might be the best way to accomplish this. I will definitely enjoy the ferry rides after that.

When at WL I use the boat when ever I can. I don't even know how many stops the WL makes on the way to MK, never taken it to MK. For that matter I have taken the boat to MK then use the monorail to go to Epcot. That probably takes longer but much more scenic.
Boat makes NO STOPS -- that is what is great about it!!

That's my other issue. I feel that the bus stop is so far away from the entrance. This is the reason i prefer to arrive and leave via Monorail.

You could take boat to Contempory then monorail to TTC. But that wouldn't be that quick.

@Pghdrumr - if you go the Uber route from WL to TTC, please post back and let us know how it went. Much appreciated!

Will do. The UBER app estimates a fee of $4. If you are familiar with the Uber app, each time I place the "pin" at the WL, it indicates there is always a car within 5 minutes away. Therefore, it seems that UBER is a good choice if you need it at WDW. Ill be there December 23 and will report back

From WL ~
Left side of dock
MK boat
Contemporary boat

Right side of dock
Ft. Wilderness boat
But from what I've seen the Magic Kingdom boat is direct form WL to MK.
But the contemporary Fort Wilderness one is a loop calling at WL, CR and FW. Does it stop twice at the Lodge as the two boats do opposite loops?
