Wilderness Lodge - Room Request

I'm checking in next Thursday :xmas: with a moderate size group. Each of us wants a different room type -- 1 - King; 1 - 2 queens; and 1 - queen/bunk bed.

What is the best way for me to let Disney know? Fax the hotel directly? Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

It should be on your reservation itself - faxing is pointless and despite what the loons at the fansites say, often thrown out or just ignored.

So, call yon mouse or your travel agent and have them note it.

You need to get the request on your reservation.

If you booked with a travel agent, call him/her.

If you booked through Disney, call them.

You cannot call Disney directly if you booked with an agent.

As mousemerf said, forget the fax business.

We always make our room type request at the time we make our reservation. We usually like to stay in the same room at the WL and ask for it by number. Then we call a few days before arrival to confirm our reservations and again mention our preference... only once have they been unable to honor our request and we received an upgrade.

Contact the person you made your reservations thru (as the others have said) and let them know what you need. Good luck and have a great trip.

Do you call CRO or the Lodge directly?

Thanks!

A few days before our trip I always call the lodge directly and tell them I want to confirm our reservations. Have all your info ready and ask them if your preference is listed. They will tell you and make a note again. I do this even when we have used a travel agent to book our trip and have never had a problem, everyone is always very nice.

Thanks everyone... We will be checking into the Lodge on the 10th and we requested a bunk bed for the kids. Good reminder to call them and verify the reservation and check on request availability.

:sohappy: 9 more days:sohappy:

One more thing... There will be one less wall light due to the height of the bunkbeds. It bothers some people enough that I've seen it mentioned in a few places... they say the room is too dark. *shrugs*
