Wilderness Lodge Pool

Has anyone recently been to the lodge and can tell me if the pool is reopened yet? We have some friends going next month and they shut it down end of January. Also.....how is it since refurb? THANKS:wave:

It should still be closed, but I'll find out tomorrow when we check in. :wave:

Oooooooooooooh eyes green with envy.......Have a wonderful visit TigsMom!! If it is still closed you they told us they had a special launch from the dock for pool shuttle service to Contemporary....and I believe you could also use the Poly but did not venture out that far....we made it to the pool the day before it closed down.

We plan on using the quiet pool by the villas, if at all. My kids love the Poly pool, but we haven't been to the Contemporary pool in years.

I was there Saturday (March 10th) and it was drained and closed.

So still shut down. We did walk by the 'quiet pool' after the shutdown and it was not very busy, then again it was not super warm out either:animwink:......they were painting the front of the lodge early Feb. too. Will be nice when they complete the overhaul. I loved all the new carpet, wallpaper and furniture!!!! I am plotting my return..... So for now I must live vicariously through you posters who are currently there or going! :lol:

Just got back last night and the pool is still closed and they are still working on the painting, they were around back.

If it was the main pool that was down, we just returned on the 12th from Disney and were at WL on the 8th and it was up and running.

Can anyone give an update on this? Is the pool done? Did they change the water slide?

We were there March 24th and the pool re-opened a day or two before we arrived. My daughter said that the slide is no longer a tunnel.
